At Mary Lee’s Photography, I believe every photograph should tell a story — your story. Whether I’m capturing a high school senior’s once-in-a-lifetime milestone, the laughter of a family, the personality of a beloved pet, or a polished professional headshot, my goal is always the same: to create timeless images that reflect who you truly are.
Based in Mendocino County, I specialize in High School Seniors, Family & Children, Pet Photography, and Headshots. I take pride in creating sessions that feel relaxed, natural, and enjoyable. There’s nothing more magical than the curiosity and laughter of childhood. We love capturing the little expressions, silly giggles, and sweet moments that make your child unique. These portraits will become priceless treasures for your family.
Headshots are more than just professional photos—they’re an opportunity to showcase confidence, personality, and the best version of yourself. At Mary Lee's Photography, we believe a great headshot tells a story and opens doors, whether for your career, portfolio, or personal branding. Every session is designed to make you feel comfortable and look your absolute best, capturing images that reflect who you are and the goals you’re working toward. It’s about celebrating your individuality and creating portraits that make a lasting impression.
Choosing the right portrait photographer is important, and I’m proud to offer a customized, boutique experience that goes far beyond a standard session. Based in beautiful Mendocino County, I serve families and seniors throughout Northern and Southern California, creating meaningful, heirloom-quality artwork through a process designed to be enjoyable, stress-free, and truly personal.
Lately I’ve been challenging myself by practicing waterfall photography. It may look simple, but there’s so much that goes into it — finding the right light, stabilizing the camera, adjusting the shutter speed, and sometimes just standing there getting a little wet while waiting for the perfect shot.
I love how long exposure transforms rushing water into something soft and dreamy. It feels like turning chaos into calm. Every time I try something new like this, I grow a little more as a photographer, and that makes me so grateful for this creative path I’m on.
Thank you to everyone who supports my photography journey — it truly means the world to me. 💚
