MENDOCINO COAST

Where the rugged coastline meets ever-changing light.

The Mendocino Coast has always been a place that draws me back with its dramatic cliffs, quiet beaches, coastal fog, and beautiful, unpredictable light. These photographs are my way of preserving the moments when I stopped, looked around, and felt something worth capturing.

There is something special about the way the coast changes throughout the day. The morning fog can soften the landscape, while the afternoon light reveals the textures of the rocks and cliffs. As the sun begins to set, everything takes on a different mood. I never quite know what I will find when I head out with my camera, and that is part of what I love about photographing the coast.

Many of these places have become familiar to me over the years, yet they never seem quite the same. The tides change, the weather shifts, and the light is always moving. Each time I return, I look for something new—a different perspective, a fleeting moment, or a quiet detail that tells its own story.

These images are a collection of those moments and memories. I hope they allow you to experience a little of the beauty that continues to inspire me and perhaps bring a piece of the Mendocino Coast into your own home.
