before your session

Soft, neutral, and earth-tone colors photograph beautifully at the beach. Coordinate your outfits without matching exactly and avoid clothing with large logos or busy patterns. Dress comfortably and be prepared for cool coastal weather.

Bring anything that will help you feel comfortable and prepared for your session. We recommend bringing water, comfortable shoes for walking between locations, a jacket or extra layer, and any personal items or props you'd like to include. If you're bringing children or pets, don't forget snacks, favorite toys, treats, and any essentials to help keep them happy and relaxed. A little preparation goes a long way toward creating a fun, stress-free experience.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled session. Arriving early allows time to park, meet, and walk to the session location so we can begin on time.

Your images will be professionally edited and delivered in a private online gallery. You'll be able to view your photographs, choose the collection that best fits your needs, and download your included high-resolution digital images at no additional cost. Professional prints and wall art are also available if you'd like to preserve your favorite memories as beautiful keepsakes.

If you need to reschedule your Beach Mini Session, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Your session may be rescheduled to the next available date based on availability.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in the session fee being forfeited. If severe weather or unsafe beach conditions require a change, your session will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

Beach weather can change quickly. If weather or other conditions make it unsafe to hold the session, Mary Lee's Photography will contact you to reschedule your session for the next available date.
