Early mornings are also a beautiful option for crisp light and quieter locations. And if you have a specific time that works best for your family, I’m happy to be flexible and build the session around your schedule.

Choose a place that feels like you! Whether it’s the beach, a quiet nature spot, a cozy park, a favorite downtown street, or the comfort of your home—select a location that helps everyone relax and enjoy the moment.
- 5. PLAN YOUR OUTFITS

Think about where your portraits will live—if they’ll be on your walls, choose colors that complement your home. Neutrals always look amazing in photos: warm browns, sage greens, muted blues, terracotta, champagne, and cream are wonderful options.
Try to choose outfits at least a week early so there’s no last-minute rush. Need help deciding? Text me photos of your picks—I’m always happy to help!
- 6. SESSION DAY

Arrive about 10 minutes early so we can get settled and ease into the fun. At the start of the session, the remaining balance of your session fee will be collected. Sessions typically last around an hour and include a comfortable mix of guided poses and candid moments — capturing your genuine smiles, connections, and personality.
- 7. AFTER THE PHOTOSHOOT

Every session is unique, and the number of images you receive depends on the package you choose. I carefully select the very best images, removing any blinks or duplicates, and give each one my full attention. Within 1–2 weeks, you’ll receive a sneak peek of your favorites to enjoy while the rest of your gallery is being prepared. I’ll let you know right away if your images are ready sooner. Once your full gallery is ready, we’ll schedule a time to review your photos together and explore print and artwork options, including albums, framed pieces, and canvas wall art — so your memories can be enjoyed every day.
